TREASURE HUNT AT ST. MARK’S SQUARE + TYPEWRITER WORKSHOP

How many quirky characters, unforgettable celebrations, and great discoveries have been first introduced in St. Mark’s Square. In this unique square, we can unravel centuries of history; from the oldest settlements of the Doge’s Palace to the first “Cafés” born in Italy, all the way to the introduction of the ingenious typewriters invented by Adriano Olivetti. With this treasure hunt, we will explore a part of Venice’s history revealed through the inscriptions and historical signs still present in the square. A workshop will follow inside the Olivetti Gallery, where children will have to write a newspaper article using the historic Olivetti typewriters.
